DVE is able to conduct safety and/or risk assessments for structural systems and sub-systems, such as crane towers, mobile cranes, road side bridge barriers, road side infrastructure, crash protection and security systems, rollover protective structures, playground climbing structures, amusement structures, ladders, sports fields, etc. Process SystemsDVE can conduct safety and/or risk assessments for process systems, such as vehicle and equipment procurement methodologies, rail, road and water craft transportation systems and processes, manual handling processes, etc. Road SafetyDVE applies a systems approach to road safety, considering the interaction of the vehicle, road environment and road users. DVE’s experience in road safety is extensive with involvement at both national and international levels, including a history of publications relating to vehicle crashworthiness, road and infrastructure design, human factors, biomechanics and safety principles.
